Mid Pacific Distributors, Inc. (MID PAC) was formed on May 12, 1947 by the late Eduardo Torres “Jake” Calvo, along with other prominent members of the community. In 1963, the Calvo family bought out the original shareholders and became a subsidiary of Calvo Enterprises Inc. (CEI) in 1975. Today, CEI has grown to become the second largest enterprise in the pacific region.

Diversification has been the driving force behind CEI’s success. With a workforce of over 1,500 and annual revenues exceeding $160 million, CEI has invested millions of dollars in developing a diverse portfolio of businesses that drive many of Guam’s civic and economic sectors.

The Calvo’s are committed to creating enterprise value for all their companies and their home island of Guam. Today, CEI is still dedicated to serving its community and poised to capitalize on new opportunities embracing Guam; while Mid Pac (celebrating 66 years in business in 2013) continues to be the company that delivers the best of what people enjoy.
